Northlake is one of the fastest-growing towns in Denton County. It had 5,201 people in the 2020 census and an estimated 12,000 by 2025, and most of its homes have been built in the last two decades. It sits along I-35W in southwest Denton County, between Argyle, Justin and Fort Worth, close to the AllianceTexas job center. Northlake is home to Hillwood's Pecan Square and to the Northlake sections of two other big master-planned communities, Canyon Falls and Harvest.

Schools

Northlake is served mainly by Northwest ISD, with parts in Argyle ISD. In communities like Canyon Falls and Harvest, the district changes from section to section, so check it for any address you're considering; we'll confirm it for you.

Things to do

Most of Northlake's amenities come from its master-planned communities: Pecan Square's town square and pools, the Canyon Falls Club and trails, and Harvest's farm, lake and parks. Texas Motor Speedway is a few miles south, and the shopping and dining in Denton, Flower Mound and along I-35W are a short drive away.

Getting around

I-35W runs through Northlake, with Denton to the north and Fort Worth and the AllianceTexas employment area to the south. FM 407 connects east to Argyle, Flower Mound, Highland Village and I-35E, and most of the town's newer neighborhoods are along and north of FM 407.
