Harvest is a roughly 1,200-acre master-planned community by Hillwood Communities in southwest Denton County, with homes carrying either an Argyle or a Northlake address. It was one of the first "agrihoods" in Texas: the land was a family farm for generations, and today the community is built around a working farm with a resident farmer, community garden plots and fruit orchards. Homes range from 2010s resales to brand-new construction, and from cottage-style homes to large estate lots.
About 60 homes are listed in Harvest, from about $390,000 to $2.5 million. The median list price is about $550,000, and most homes are priced between $400,000 and $900,000, at roughly $200 per square foot. The typical home has about 4 bedrooms and 3,000 square feet. A number of the listings are brand-new homes. Live MLS data as of October 10, 2026.
The farm is what makes Harvest different. An on-site farmer teaches residents to grow vegetables and herbs, residents can rent garden plots around the greenhouse, and the orchards of apple, pear and plum trees open for picking on scheduled days. An optional community-supported agriculture (CSA) subscription delivers fresh produce from the farm.
Beyond the farm, Harvest has:
Harvest is made up of the main Harvest phases, Harvest Meadows and Harvest Townside. The earliest homes, in the first phases near the farm, date from about 2013 to 2016; later phases added homes through the 2020s, including luxury homes and a limited number of 1- to 3-acre estate lots. Builders in Harvest over the years have included Highland Homes, David Weekley Homes, Pulte Homes, Coventry Homes, D.R. Horton and M/I Homes. Hillwood expects the community to be fully sold out around 2027, so the remaining new-construction opportunities are limited.
